We've spoken to Mark Benton about voicing the part of Tom. This test uses a piece of dialogue from Mark in the excellent Early Doors. The animation was done by Ciarán. We've found less mouth shapes seems to give a better result rather than trying to hit every single inflection. We think the voice fits Tom pretty well, what do you think?

I don't understand you Uli!
I was expecting west country rather than yorkshire! You don't really notice the fact that the voice isn't exactly synched with the animation, it could do with a tiny bit of tweaking in the pauses but from this lay-person's view, it is all good!
Really nice modelling, texturing and lighting. The animation's nice too but I think the blinks strobe or flicker. I just think they're too fast or not blurred enough, they grabbed by attention too much as I was watching that. I really want to see more though.
